My deepest condolences to the Brate family for the passing of John. Back in the day John and I would hang out at the old Stone Poney pub and that’s where we got to know one another. I found John to be kind, soft spoken and generous. Having him as a friend meant he always had your back no matter what. That being said, one also had to know that they had better not cross or anger him because you would regret it. There should be a lot more John Brates in this world !!! R.I.P. My Friend
