Matt was such a wonderful, creative member of life and the Upstate Artists Guild. We will all miss him, his spirit of generosity and sense of humor . This picture was taken inside The Fountain Restaurant in Albany with our friends and our little girls. Matt and Christoph sure were troopers in agreeing to meet us there with 3 little ones under the age of 5! What a fantastic memory and there are many of them, pre and post kids, at UAG shows, galas and member meetings. We love you Matt and you will be forever in our hearts.

I am sorry to hear of Matt's passing. I came to know Matt thru working with him at OMH. He was very patient and spent alot of time explaining what I needed to do to complete my work with him. I was new to this work at the time and he never lost his patience. When I would see him walking in from the garage or out at night we would take time and visit with each other. We laughed about owning hondas and what great cars they are. I had not seen him in over 2 months but with covid and working from home this became the new norm. I remember our last time talking and he was upbeat and smiling. I will remember him that way. Michael P. Sagar

Matt will be greatly missed. Throughout my time with OMH, he proved to be a kind and gentle man that cared about so many. His passion for life, fights for justice, and compassion for all is a beacon of hope for many. I hope Matt's family can take comfort in the knowledge that he has made a positive difference in the world around him.
