Voorheesville, NY - Roswitha Wuntsch, 81,of Hill Drive died Tuesday Dec. 17, 2013 at home after a prolonged illness. Born in Johannisburg, East Germany to Konrad Steinke and Helene Penske and moved to the USA as a newlywed in 1952 where she started her life together with her husband, Manfred. "Witti" enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking (German pastries and tortes), large family gatherings, and animals, large and small. She was a loving, kind, and generous woman whose hospitality was famous. She was also selfless in caring for her aged and disabled parents for over 16 years. Most of all she set a fine example of Christian living to her children and grandchildren. Survivors include children Deborah (Mark) Fuller, Edward (Doreen)Wuntsch, and Irene (Douglas) Allen; grandchildren Jordan Fuller, Jessica (Dennis) Delong, Jared (Jennifer) Wuntsch, Michael (Kati) Allen, and David Allen. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at the Colonie Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses at 6167 Depot Rd., Guilderland Center
