Lorrie Burroughs, 48, of Clifton Park, passed away on August 23, 2024, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 29, 1975, to her mother and father, the late Karen Connolly and Alan Burroughs. Lorrie is survived by her loving partner, Harold Rivenburgh, her two children, Shannon VandeBogart and Alexis Giacumo, and her stepchildren, Megan and Matthew Rivenburgh. She is also survived by her two sisters, Amanda and Alicene Burroughs. Lorrie was a proud grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren - Arayah, Ava, Aurora, Braxton, Ryleigh, and Madeline. Lorrie was a lover of animals, and she will undoubtedly be missed by her two dogs, Munchkin and Roxie, and her cat, Butterfinger. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lorrie was initially diagnosed with Colon Cancer in 2018. She fought long and hard for many years until April 2024, when she made a difficult decision to place quality over quantity. She spent the next four months spending her time with family and friends doing the things she enjoyed the most.

Lorrie managed the Mr. Subb store in Colonie Center for 20-plus years. Prior to getting ill, she worked at Walmart in Catskill. Lorrie was also a proud member of the Catskill Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Lorrie was known for her love of crafts. She could often be found in her craft room working on new projects. Her sense of humor and infectious laugh will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Lorrie's memory will live on in the hearts of those who love her.

Services will be held on August 29th, 2024, at Reilly and Son Funeral Home, 1200 Central Avenue, Colonie, NY 12205, from 9 am to 11 am, with burial to follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
