John D. "Jay" Fitzpatrick, aged 49, passed away peacefully on May 27th 2024, in Albany, NY. He was born on May 24th 1975, in Schenectady, NY. He was a resident of Albany, NY and was in the first graduating class of Schenectady High School. He also attended Union College where he was a football player. He married Jael Joslin on March 17th 2013. He worked as a manager for many sporting goods stores. Displaying wonderful problem solving skills. John was an avid fan of Joe Montana. He took pride in his irish heritage.

Time with his close family & work were his two biggest passions. John always had the ability to make anyone smile. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jael Fitzpatrick(Joslin); daughters, Danielle Fitzpatrick, Alexis Fitzpatrick & Cierra Fitzpatrick; late grandmother Fern Leonard(Amsler), grandfather William Leonard; parents; siblings, four grandchildren; father-in-law Charles "Chuck" Joslin, mother -in-law Ruth "Cookie"Joslin(Schroeder), brother-in-law's Joshua Joslin, Justin Joslin; & close friend Joseph Pezzi.

Also, at 11 o' clock on June 3rd, to reminisce and honor the life of John D. Fitzpatrick. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Colonie.
