COLONIE – Sharon Simonian, 75, of Wilshire Dr. passed away peacefully Saturday, December 9, 2023 at St. Peter’s Hospital. She was born in Albany January 11, 1948 to Arthur and Hazel Carey. Sharon was predeceased by her loving husband John Simonian in 2014 with whom she was an active parishioner of Roessleville Presbyterian Church. She retired from Motorola after 25 years then worked for Prudential and Wildwood Programs until her retirement.

Sharon is survived by her son Mark Simonian of Colonie, daughters Melissa Simonian of Colonie, Michelle Simonian (David Smith) of Colonie and Sarasota, FL, Rebecca Simonian of Colonie and John Simonian Jr. of Orleans, MA. She was the loving grandmother of Macaiyla Edwards (Tyler Steinkamp) of Kansas City, MO, Jaimz Edwards of Colonie and Maddox and Camden Raymond of Colonie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 o’clock Thursday morning at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie followed by burial in Memory Gardens in Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4 - 7 p.m. For those who wish, memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association or the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society would be appreciated.
