Albany - Marie S. Ruoso, 89, died Sunday, August 13, 2023 at The Grand Nursing Center in Guilderland. Born in Puerto Rico, Marie was the daughter of the late Carmen Claudio Santana and Francisco Santana. Marie lived in Huntington, NY for 40 years before moving to Albany. She was employed as a Lab Technician at Bellevue Hospital and then as a Teacher’s Aide in Huntington before her retirement. While in Huntington she enjoyed volunteering at her church for many years.
Marie is survived by her husband, Otello Ruoso; her sons, Paul Ruoso (Lucia) of East Rockaway and Otello Ruoso, Jr. (Yiselle) of Voorheesville; grandsons, Leonardo and Joseph; and great-grandson, Carter.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. For those who wish, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
