My condolences to Doug and John's family.
We are cousins via my father William Nelson and Harold Lonnstrom being cousins and all coming through Brooklyn from Sweden. John and Doug were among the few living relatives in this part of the US. We met only infrequently over the years. I remember my father bringing me over to see John and Hazel when I was at RPI ca. 1967. The next time (about 1978) I saw John I was working in Delmar near his dentist office and I dropped over to say hi. There was some confusion because the other dentist in the building was named Gary Nelson as well. Last saw John at Doug's place on the lake with my first cousin Carolyn who just passed last month in Bermuda.
I have family archives from my grandmother and was looking at pictures of the Lonnstroms from way back just a while ago. We are a thinning generation and I send my regards to all the family.
