I have known Claudia since 1969. I was 19 and she was 26. We met at the Newman’s Club at the university. And became instant friends and have remained so for these many years. Her infectious personality, quick wit and deep reflections and care for others drew one to her. There are so many memories sleep overs, talks and parties by the lake, a memorable trip to Puerto Rico, weddings, dinners and breakfasts and long talks on the phone. We were there for each other through many Ups and Downs of life. I know how very hard it was for her to give up her independence because it was so much of who she was and so I pray she is embraced by all those who loved in life on earth and waited for her to join them now. Every time I make the trip to the lake or wish for that wonderful conversation smile and connection and find it missing, it will hurt but I hold her and the memories in my heart. God Bless Claudia.
