Joy had a great career and a strong love of family and travel. She was enthusiastic about all aspects of life and really lived up to her name JOY. Her passions for reading, history, photography, music, America, Italy and Disney will forever remind me of JOY. As a young adult Joy belonged to just about every organization they invented at her high school; editor of the newsletter, French club, choral speaking, choir, drama club - but never acting. She was always involved in SETS, SCENERY and PROPS. Joy went on to college and graduate school where she utilized her skill set in her long career.
Joy was the family photographer (set designer) who often made the children wear props(hats, caps, shirts, head dresses) for family photo ops. Behind the scenes ,again, she was the family historian capturing photos and genealogy/history for the family legacy. Joy made sure to gather the Italian family ancestry with added information whenever possible. As prop master she made sure everyone had Disney memorabilia, Christmas ornaments, American Indian artifacts and more. As choir director we all learned that the song “Take me out to the Ball game “ was really about the Yankees and the “Only way to Freedom” was right on through your brain .. As mentioned earlier she began young adulthood involved in SET, SCENERY and PROPS. AJ we love ❤️ you and will forever be thankful for the SET SCENERY and PROPS you created for for this family for it is woven into our loving treasured memories!! Well done good and faithful servant well done!
