Glenville - Sean P. Maginn, 75, died Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Cleator, Cumbria, England, Sean was the son of the late Peter and Elizabeth Keenan Maginn. He moved to the United States at a young age and was raised in Albany before moving to Glenville many years ago. Sean worked as a Fingerprint Specialist at the NYS Department of Criminal Justice in Albany and retired in 2004.

Sean was the brother of the late Marie Lasch; brother in law of the late William J. Lasch; uncle of Paul Lasch (Susan) of East Aurora, NY, Patricia Akers of Altamont, Susan Lasch (David Haack) of Colonie and Joseph Lasch (Katherine) of Delmar; great-uncle of Keenan Lasch, Finn Lasch, Emily Lasch, Allison Lasch, Andrea Akers and Jada Akers; and good friend of Michael Gomiller.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2022 at St. Matthew’s Church, 25 Mountainview St., Voorheesville. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the church Monday from 10 - 11 a.m., prior to the mass. For those who wish, memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
