Obituary of James Ramundo

Colonie – James Ramundo, 90, died Friday, February 11, 2022 at his residence.  Born in Colonie, James was a lifelong town resident.  He was the son of the late Mary and Paul Ramundo, Sr.   James worked as a painter for more than 50 years.  He was a member of the W.A.I.B.S, the Albany Curling Club and the Colonie K of C.  He also enjoyed golf and was a communicant of Christ Our Light Church in Loudonville.

            James was the husband of the late Marilyn Bergbold Ramundo; father of Gail Schultz of Colonie, Fred Ramundo (Susan) of Colonie and the late Kathleen Ramundo McMillen; grandfather of Todd Schultz, Julie McMillen Lambert (Doug) and the late Jim Schultz; great-grandfather of Heather Schultz, JT Schultz, Skyler Schultz, Payton Napoli Schultz and Vincent Lambert; great-great-grandfather of Natalie McKenzie.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and was predeceased by his 12 siblings.

            Funeral 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie and at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville.  Interment will be in Memory’s Garden in Colonie.  Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 – 8 p.m.  For those who wish, memorial donations to Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 would be appreciated.
