Ed and Mary Alice's love and support have been blessings to us. Their masses for Michael and Ellen have been the most meaningful remembrances one could offer. Our lunches after the masses were lively, stimulating and fun. "He was a good man," is one of the highest characterizations to describe one. Ed was a good man.

Hello Mary Alice, Ed, Peggie, Mia,
We were all saddened to hear about Ed’s passing. We wish we could be there with you. We know he is in a better place with God in Heaven. (He is partying up in heaven with our mom). He truly loved Jesus and served him. I remember him hating that he would miss church on Sunday morning while we were camping at Silver Bay, and he would always want to be back on Sunday by 4pm because there was service later in the day that he could attend.
The Morgan’s and the Boncaro’s had so many adventures together that it is hard to remember all of them. I wish we had camera phones back then to record them all. Some of the big highlights that happened centered around the Y-Indian Guides. There were the monthly Friday nights at the YMCA, meetings at families homes, Fall Field Day with rocket launch and marshmallow drops, Chuck Wagon Dinners, winter campouts, field trips to various locations, and Silver Bay campouts with hikes and bonfires. I remember a few times when our dad could not hike up Sunrise mountain because of his bad knee. However, Mr. Morgan was there and took all the kids up. One year he had to go up twice because he went up early with Ed to get one of the arrow heads for the first 3 people up the mountain, then had to go back up with everyone. It was always a great time when the Morgans and Boncaro kids got together.
Another tradition that the Morgan’s had was the annual New Years Eve party. Even though us kids did not get together for that event it was still great. That is because my mom loved it beyond belief. She would look forward to that event all year. Her and my dad would get all dressed up and go out on a date with no kids. She did not have many occasions to get dressed up so this was a big deal. She loved being able to help Mary Alice with the food and the clean up. Meanwhile us kids could have a party at home without parents. Which was not much of a party. One year my dad offered $20 to whoever was the best kid. So we all cleaned the house from top to bottom. That cost my dad $100 that year. He never made that offer again.
At church he always greeted us kids and our parents with a warm hello, hand shake, or hug. That became more important as we (David & Anthony) got older and were not living in Colonie. When we would come back to town and go to church with our parents, there was Mr. Morgan, greeting everyone.
Your dad, Mr. Morgan to us, truly made the world a better place. As kids growing up we were truly blessed that our two families had so many adventures together. Our family sends our love and blessing to you.
Love,
David (qhminc@gmail.com)
John, Paul, Debbie, Nancy, Anthony
(I will send the complete letter and many more photos that have been upload to google photos to Ed)

A person I feel privileged to have met not only for who he was and his accomplishments but because he raised Margaret, who is an integral part of my life and someone I hold close to my heart to this day. Rest in peace, Mr. Morgan, and know you were loved and had a positive impact on many people in your life, which is what matters most.

Jordie was my Godfather, and I was grateful when he and Mary Alice shared times with the David I. Morgan family, including to attend Dave's and my wedding in 2002, and when my Mom died in 2016.

Morgan/Schroeder Maine Vacation 2015.
This was a most memorable trip for all of us, climbing new heights (The Bee Hive), kayaking, paddle boarding, and the tough journey around Jordan Pond. RIP Dad/Grampy
