William “Bill” R. Ridgeway III, age 63, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 07, 2020, at Albany Medical Center. He was born on August 12, 1956, in Chincotegue, Virginia, to William R. Ridgeway Jr. and Mary Ann (Palmer) Longeway. He served in the Army National Guard as a Specialist (Avionics Mechanic). He loved to work on various landscaping projects and to spend time at Pine Ridge camp with his best friend Pamela Spinner. He loved watching Law and Order SVU and Chicago PD. He also loved to spend time with his grandson, Nicholas, gardening, shopping, watching Nascar and cartoons, baking cookies, video chatting, and playing games. William is predeceased by his father and survived by his mother, his children: Cassandra Camino (Ridgeway) (Joseph), Jacqueline Ridgeway, William Ridgeway IV (Shanna), and another son, six grandchildren: Nicholas, Alexandria, Michael, Zachary, Joshua, Mason, and a 7th on the way, seven siblings: Susan Carmen (Ronald), Valerie Ridgeway, Thomas Ridgeway (Charlene), Lynn Grant (James), Greg Ridgeway (Stephanie), Cindy Dodd (Ken), and Michael Ridgeway, his best friend Pamela Spinner, other family, and many friends. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
