Obituary of Herman C. Stapf
Herman died on January 16, 2019. He fought a courageous battle for almost 5 years with cancer, getting it at the 9/11 World Trade Center. We were married for 47 wonderful years and blessed with two wonderful boys, Gerard and Michael. We were happy that Gerard found Courtney and we have two beautiful grandchildren that we helped lovingly care for from 8 weeks old until they started school. Their names are Alexander (Alex) and Katharine Ann.
Herman was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1968 until 1970.
Herman was a lover of family, friends, hunting, fishing, flowers and bees, and being kind to people whenever he could. He was like a huggable Teddy Bear. He will always be in our hearts and minds.
