Obituary of Grace M. Petramale

Albany - Grace M. "Dolly" Petramale, 85, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Teresian House Nursing Home. Born in Columbiaville, NY, Dolly was the daughter of the late Mabel Graziano and Angelo Chiarella and had lived for 55 years in Athens, NY. She worked as a Teller at Key Bank in Athens and was a very well known seamstress in Columbia, Greene and Albany counties. Also, she was a parishioner of St. Patrick's Church in Athens and a member of the church Rosary Society for many years. Dolly was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Frank Petramale and her brother, Frank (Chach) Chiarella. Survivors include her children, Rosemary Serignese of Glenmont, Andrew Petramale (Deb) of Voorheesville and Trish Dawes (Rob) of Clifton Park; siblings, Frances (Shesh) Campeta of Valatie, Philip Chiarella of Coxsackie and Mary Ann Pulice of Columbiaville; grandchildren, Joseph Serignese, Jr., Jodi Serignese Chirkis, Mikayla Dawes and Alexis Dawes; and great-grandchildren, Matthew and Luke Serignese and Isabella and Brett Chirkis. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at 1:00 o'clock Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Chapel in the Teresian House Nursing Home. A visiting hour will be held in the nursing home from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., prior to the mass. Burial will be in the Athens Rural Cemetery in Athens.
