Obituary of Karen Irene Comerford

Karen Irene Comerford, 49, of Rotterdam, NY passed away peacefully on September 10 2018. She was born to John M. Comerford and Patricia C. Richardson in Warsaw, NY on July 5, 1969. She became a CNA and worked for many years before she got her degree in nursing in 2004 and worked as an LPN. She loved her career and was passionate about helping others. Karen loved to laugh and make others happy. Many can remember this fierce woman by her laugh and ability to make anyone smile.

She is survived by her daughter, Khrystin Comerford, her parents, John Comerford (Ginger) and Patricia Richardson, her siblings, Mary Comerford Cooper, and Dennis Comerford, as well as several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. There will be a memorial service immediately followed by internment at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands, NY at 11am on Friday, September 14, 2018. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to your local SPCA.
