Obituary of Joseph S. Papa, II

Colonie - Joseph S. Papa, II, father, builder and dreamer, died Monday, July 2, 2018 at the age of 74.  Born in Stockton, CA  when his father was in the Army Air Corp, he was the son of the late Christine Delduce and Joseph S. Papa.  Joseph lived for most of his life in Colonie, attended HVCC where he also enjoyed playing baseball and then worked as an Estimator for family construction businesses.

Joseph was the father of Kevin Papa (Jennifer), Nicole Westfall (Mike) and Eric Papa (Megan); former spouse of Marie Papa Hunter; grandfather of Michael Westfall and Sophie, Zachary, Benjamin and Lucas Papa; brother of Christopher Papa (Patti); and uncle of Victoria Papa.

A funeral mass will be cerebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 at St. Mary’s Church, 10 Lodge St., Albany.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont.  Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie Monday morning from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m.
