Voorheesville - Russell L.Tymchyn, 97, of Voorheesville died Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at his home. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. He enjoyed being a lifelong farmer.
He was predeased by his wife Catherine and is survived by his stepdaughter, Barbara Ryan; and sister, Virginia Tymchyn. He is also survived by many other family members including grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial mass at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2016 at St. Matthew’s Church, 25 Mountainview St. , Voorheesville.
