Colonie - Rose Calabro Kabrehl, 80, of Weymouth St. died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Albany, Rose had lived on Weymouth St. for the past 60 years. She was a loving wife and mother, devoting most of her time to her family. She was a communicant of Christ Our Light Church in Loudonville and also active with the Colonie Elks and the VFW Zaloga Post in Albany. Rose was the wife of Charles J. Kabrehl, Sr.; mother of Charles J. Kabrehl, Jr. (Sandra) of Albany and Joseph Kabrehl (Gina) of Guilderland; grandmother of Charles Kabrehl, III (Kristina) of Chester, Steven Kabrehl of Albany, Angela Charbonneau of Boston and Jennifer Cunningham (Glen) of Schenectady; great-grandmother of Tyler and Logan Cunningham; and sister of Dominick Calabro (Joan) of Ocean City, MD and the late Rachael Myers and Margaret Sisson. Funeral 9:00 o'clock Tuesday from the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie and at 10:00 o'clock at Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 - 6 p.m. in the funeral home. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the American diabetes Association, 2 Pine West Plaza, Albany, NY 12205 would be appreciated.
