Colonie - Patricia O'Keefe Jablonski, 71, of Marriner Ave. died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital. Born December 22, 1940, Patricia was the daughter of the late Susan Armour and Patrick O'Keefe. She taught nursing at JCA then at Hudson Valley Community College. She was an outstanding teacher and was always there for her students. Patricia was the wife of the late Richard J. Jablonski; mother of Kathleen Ann Steinhorst (Henry) of Colonie, Kevin Jablonski of Colonie, Richard Jablonski (Patricia) of East Greenbush and Gene Jablonski of Colonie; and grandmother of Elizabeth Ann Steinhorst, Emily Nicole Jablonski and Richard Timothy Jablonski. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family with burial in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands. Patricia's family would like to establish a scholarship in her honor for the nursing program at Hudson Valley Community College. Those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to the Patricia Jablonski Memorial Fund, SEFCU, Patroon Creek Corporate Center, 700 Patroon Creek Blvd., Albany, NY 12206.
