Albany - Martha E. Romp, 71, formerly of Troy died Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Hudson Park Nursing Home. Born in Troy, Martha was the daughter of the late Martha Fleming and William F. Romp and had lived most of her life in Troy. She was the sister of Katie Swartwout (J. Baxter) of Latham, Christine Romp (Rob Glarner) of Pearisburg, VA, Billy Romp of Vermont and Gretchen Lane of Voorheesville; dear friend of Chris Stevenson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Martha's funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 o'clock Friday morning at St. Matthew's Church, Mountainview St., Voorheesville. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery in Troy. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville.
