Colonie - Mary Bennett Ricci, 88, formerly of Marriner Ave., died Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Teresian House Nursing Home in Albany. Born in Rutland, VT, Mary had lived on Marriner Ave. since 1967, moving to the Teresian House two years ago. She was a past member of the Weinenger VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary, the Hart Senior Citizens and the H.B. Kuhn Senior Citizens in Colonie. She was an avid card player and enjoyed Bridge and Poker. Mary was the wife of the late Amelio Ricci; mother of Nancy Richman (Barry) of Guilderland, Michael Ricci of Albany, Teresa Leisenfelder (Clayton Jr.) of Colonie and Traci TumSuden (John) of Waterford; grandmother of Heather Kite, Jennifer Jacobson, Michael Richman, C.J. Leisenfelder, Shawn TumSuden, Sarah TumSuden and Leah TumSuden; great-grandmother of Leo Richman, Dagny Kite and Sigrun Kite. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary's funeral will be celebrated at the Infant of Prague Chapel in the Teresian House Nursing Home on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie on Wednesday from 5 - 7 p.m. and at the Teresian House Nursing Home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., prior to the mass. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Colonie. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the Teresian House Nursing Home, 200 Washington Ave., Ext., Albany, NY 12203 would be appreciated.
