Obituary of Frank A. Ladesic

Colonie - Frank A. Ladesic, 85, of Colonie died Sunday, January 8, 2012. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Frank had lived there most of his life before moving to Colonie four years ago. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. He worked for 45 years as a Service Repairman for Sears in Pittsburgh, retiring 20 years ago. Frank was the husband of the late Catherine Brawley Ladesic and Martha Turak Ladesic; father of Christine Walter (Thomas) of Voorheesville, NY and the late Elaine Broda, Leslie Malobicky and Lois Bateman; grandfather of Allison Hirsch, Andrew Walter, Evan Malobicky, Angela Wilson, Ashley Bateman and Shawn Malobicky. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren. His funeral mass was celebrated at St. Matthew's Church, Voorheesville, NY. Burial was in Pittsburgh.
