Obituary of Mark Marcello DeAngelis

Slingerlands - Mark Marcello DeAngelis, 47, of Pauley Lane died suddenly on Sunday, January 8, 2012. Born in Albany, Mark was a graduate of Voorheesville High School and SUNY-Albany. He worked his entire life with Marcello Tile Co. of Albany, where he was currently President of the company. We remember our sweet Mark most by his warm smile and embrace. A hard worker at home and in business, his moments of greatest joy were at home with his family. He adored his children, Marcella and Evangeline, and his beloved wife, Beth. Mark was the husband of Beth Womer DeAngelis; father of Marcella and Evangeline DeAngelis; son of Agnes Genovesi DeAngelis and the late Marcello DeAngelis; brother of Vincent DeAngelis (Elizabeth) of Warwick, NY and Dominick "Nick" DeAngelis of Slingerlands; uncle of Jarret Dunham, Elena Dunham and Vinny DeAngelis; son-in-law of Earl and Jacqueline Womer and William and Marie Folderman; brother-in-law of Suzanne Dunham (Steven). He is also survived by an enormous loving extended family. Friends are invited to a Rite of Reception of Mark's body at St. Matthew's Church, 25 Mountainview St., Voorheesville at 4:00 o'clock Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Immediately following, the family will be receiving guests until 7:00 o'clock at which time there will be a Vigil of Prayer and Remembrance. His Funeral Mass will will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon Thursday at St. Matthew's Church. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Colonie.
