New Scotland - Albert Miller, 86, of Clipp Rd. died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at his home. A lifelong farmer, he worked for a short time for Conrail and co-founded Superior Housing in Cobleskill in the 1980's. He remained dedicated and active with the company until his death. Albert enjoyed working and also thoroughly enjoyed traveling. He was the husband of Kathleen Hitchman Miller; father of Albert Miller (Judee) of New Scotland, Deborah Fuglein (Robert) of Altamont and Karen Dolen (Eric) of Howes Cave; brother of Ruth Caron of Yuma, AZ and the late Harriet and Margaret; grandfather of Albert Miller, III, Randall Miller (Rebecca), David Miller, Matthew Fuglein, Jonathan Fuglein, Kathleen Dolen, Eric Dolen and Robert Dolen; and great-grandfather of Cayce Mae Miller. Albert's funeral service will be held at 11:00 o'clock Wednesday morning at the New Scotland Presbyterian Church, 2010 New Scotland Rd., Slingerlands, NY 12159. Burial will be in the New Scotland Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville. For those who wish, contributions may be made in Albert's name to the New Scotland Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
