Obituary of Marie T. Morris

Colonie - Marie Trifilo Morris, of Eastwood Dr., entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, October 16, 2011. She is survived by her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Phyllis Morris; two cherished grandchildren, Matthew and Grace; her brother and sister-in-law, Carmen and Marie Trifilo; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Rosario Trifilo; her mother and stepfather, Mary and Raymond Scaringe; and her aunt, Connie Testa. Marie was a 1956 graduate of Cathedral Academy. She retired from the Department of Tax and Finance after 30 years of state service. In retirement, she volunteered at the American Red Cross in Colonie. Marie's funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville. Friends may also visit with her family Saturday from 9 - 10 o'clock at the church, prior to the mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont.
