Obituary of Helen F. O'Toole

Rotterdam - Helen Smith O'Toole, 68, of Curry Rd. died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Helen was employed for 33 years in the Sales Department at Sears in Colonie, retiring in 2001. She enjoyed time spent with her family and was also a big fan of the New York Yankees and NASCAR. Helen was the wife of the late James S. O'Toole. Survivors include her former husband, Leslie G. Miller, Sr.; children, Bonnie (Don) Hatlee, Barbara (Mark) Nichols and Leslie (Amber) Miller, Jr.; stepchildren, Dawn (Charles) Kolowski, Jaime O'Toole and Dana (Ray) Goodman. She was also the grandmother of Brian, Greg, Jonah, Kathryn, Justin, Victoria, Daniel, Ashley, Abigail, Aliyah, Collin and the late Amanda; sister of Carol Rea and the late Janet Vonk; and sister-in-law of Arthur Vonk, Patricia and Donald Klimchek, Michael and Patty O'Toole, Lawrence O'Toole and the late Michele Rea and Peggy and Ernie Harrington. Friends are invited to visit with Helen's family Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie. A service will be held at 1:00 o'clock, followed by burial in Memory Gardens Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial contributions to Family & Child Services of Schenectady, Inc., 246 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12305 would be appreciated.
