Guilderland - Eilean Hoffmeister died Decenber 28, 2010. Eilean was born August 17, 1951 and raised in Albany, daughter of Martin and Irene Abare. She resided in Guilderland and was retired from the State of New York, Department of Tax and Finance. She is predeceased by her beloved bother, Wayne Delligan Sr. in September 2010.She leaves behind her much loved daughter Holly Hoffmeister, niece Gena (Russ) Rue whom she raised as a daughter, great nephew James Martin whom she cherished as a grandchild, nephews Wayne Jr. and Thomas Delligan, sister in law Mary Delligan and dear friend Marilyn Rainville. Eilean had great love and affection all around her, whether it be friend, family or someone she just met. Services will be private and held at the grave site in the spring.
