Obituary of Michael Joseph McLean

COLONIE - Michael J. McLean, 60, of Iris Lane entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Born in Albany, Michael had lived in the Capital District all of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1971 to 1975. He was an Electrician with the IBEW Local # 236 in Albany. Michael was a member of the Zaloga American Legion Post, past Exalted Ruler of Albany Elks Lodge # 49, past member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Fr. Tansy Div. 5 and an honorary member of the Sons & Daughters of Erin Pipe Band. Michael was the father of Bridgette Haley (Nicholas), Kristen McLean (Billy Pettis) and Stephanie Beaver (James); former spouse of Teresa Pino; brother of Jack McLean, Alllen McLean, Randy McLean, Kathy McLean and the late Barbara McLean; grandfather of Isabel, Brenden, Makayla, Alex, Dexter, Isabelle and Liam; and longtime friend of Michelle Perkinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 9:00 o'clock Saturday morning at Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave., Albany. Friends are invited and may also visit with Michael's family from 4 - 7 p.m. Friday at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the Scholarship Fund at Blessed Sacrament School, 607 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12206 would be appreciated.
