Guilderland - Lucette Lafferty Scholer (nee) Millman, formerly of Voorheesville - absent from the body, present with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 30, 2014. Born in Hudson on July, 29, 1936, Lucette was the daughter of the late A. George and Louise Bouvier Millman. She was a 1954 graduate of Columbia High School and retired from the NYS Thruway Authority in 1999 after 22 years of service. Lucette was a member of the Voorheesville American Legion Auxiliary Post # 1493, a volunteer with Community Caregivers and Literacy Volunteers of America. She also was very active with her class reunion committees over the years. Lucette was the mother of Michelle Louise of Albuquerque, NM, Mark M. Scholer (Kimberly) of Fultonville, Glen T. Scholer (Paula) of Malta and the late Linette S. Lafferty; and grandmother of Stephen W. Scholer and Logan T. Scholer. A Memorial Service will be held on at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville. Memorial donations may be made to Community Caregivers, 300 Mill Rose Ct., Suite 200, Slingerlands, NY 12159.
