Obituary of Joseph A. Nenni

Idaho Falls, Idaho - Joseph A. Nenni, 54, passed away on Sunday August 10, 2014 after a courageous battle against leukemia. He was born in Albany, New York on August 13, 1959 to Lucy R. and the late Oscar Nenni. He graduated from Colonie Central High School and received his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He settled in Idaho Falls in 1989. Joe is preceded in death by his father, Oscar, and his sister, Teresa Barber. He is survived by his children, Philip of Logan, Utah and Elizabeth of Salt Lake City, Utah and his beloved dog, Tucker. Also survived by his mother, Lucy, and sisters Anne Marie Whiteley and Rosemarie Nenni., his in laws and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas where Joe received treatment. During his treatment, Joe received countless transfusions of blood and platelets. If you are able, please consider donating the gift of life to your local blood bank. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie. Interment services will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie.
