Colonie - Gerald J. Normandin, 78, of Kenjack Terrace died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in Glens Falls, Gerald had lived in Albany before moving to Colonie 50 years ago. Gerald had a passion for business and sales and had an ability to draw everyone towards his charm and wit. This provided him with a lifelong career in the textile and real estate industries. His love of family, football, tennis, politics and travel also gave him a great deal of pleasure throughout his life.
Gerald was the husband of Ann Colasurdo Normandin; son of the late Joseph and Orletta Normandin; father of Michael D. Normandin and Christopher Paul Normandin, both of Colonie; brother of the late June Malinowski and Joyce Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
