Voorheesville - Ann Elizabeth Putnam, age 94, of Voorheesville, New York, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026.

Born on February 22, 1932, in Oneonta, New York, she was the daughter of George E. and Esther M. Lawton. She married Ivan W. Putnam and together they shared 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2003.

Ann was known for her kindness, strength, generosity, faith, and dedication to family. She enjoyed many years raising her family as well as babysitting for others.  She devoted numerous years of service working as Office Manager at Cornell Cooperative Extension. She participated in the New Scotland Presbyterian Church and New Scotland Seniors communities. Gardening, birds and her home were her passions.

Ann is survived by her four children, Daniel Leigh, Dawn Ellen, Deann Marie and Danita Jean. Her grandchildren; Joseph DeVellis Jr. (Marci), Jessica Daigneault (Eric), Jamie DiGaudio (Seth), Nathan Putnam (Addie), Stephanie Haines (Kyle), Matthew Putnam, Sarina Tecza (David), Nicolas Taccogna (Bianca), Anthony Scaccia (Janelle), Monica Wilkins (Sam) and Thomas DellaPenta. As well as 15 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Sandra Lawton and many other loved ones. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers George (Mary) and Stephen Lawton.

A memorial service will be held on June 13, 2026, at 1:00 pm at New Scotland Presbyterian Church, 2010 New Scotland Rd., Slingerlands. Entombment will be at Gerald B.H. Solomon, Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 11:30 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

The family wishes to thank hospital staff at Albany Medical Center and friends for their compassion and care.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
