Jake was someone I always respected and looked up to. We had a lot in common even though we were generations apart. I was always in awe of his many talents. He was always so pleasant and nice to me, and he blessed me with my first motorcycle! He will surely be missed.

My mother (his sister), brother and I moved to the farm 60 years ago. Since then I have been fortunate to follow Jake around the hay fields, thru the oil terminals and along backroads on the motorcycle keeping one eye on the beautiful views and one on the road never knowing what was going to be around the next turn.
His final moments were scary, then sad, then beautiful. He is loved. He is missed.

Jake was wonderfully friendly and kind neighbor. We have been blessed by our friendship with her and Arlene. We share in the sadness of his loss, but are glad he is at peace...Hopefully enjoying motorcycle rides through Heaven. Rest in peace. Tim and Kristin Vivian and family.
