A celebration of life will be held later this year.
Mickey was a staple businessman in Albany, NY for over 50 years. The number of great locksmiths in the Capital District is too high to count. There are so many he mentored and took in over all those years. Mickey was a Drill Sergeant in the United States Army after serving two tours in Vietnam. He treated his soldiers well and they stayed in touch all these years. Mickey lived a fulfilled life of love and laughter. He always had the best jokes and sayings and was so proud to be an Irishman. He and his wife of 39 years not only raised their own children but took in many other families in need over the years. They raised horses and participated, often placing, in many horse shows and fairs. Mickey loved fishing, hunting, watching western and trips to Disney World. He was one of the strongest parts of the family tree trunk and will be greatly missed. A family man, he had the best advice to get you through the worst times and would give you the shirt off his back and a shoulder to cry on in your time of need. The most amazing father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle and friend has been called home and Heaven has gained the absolute most. Until we meet again, we love you always and forever.
