Daniel Joseph Booth Sr., 55, of Latham, NY, passed away on March 23, 2026. He was born in Albany, NY.

Daniel was the proud owner and operator of D&R Paving, which he founded alongside Randy Schrom, building a life through hard work and dedication. Outside of work, he was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Yankees, an avid reader, a lover of mob movies and a good plate of meatballs. He enjoyed time spent with family, especially at gatherings filled with laughter and connection. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Danny likely has a story to tell and a memory to hold onto.

He is predeceased by his mother, Eileen Schleiger, his stepfather, Harry Schleiger, his father, Raymond Booth Jr., and his brother, Michael “Bubba” Booth, the eldest sibling and a deeply loved and influential presence in the family.

He is survived by his children: Daniel Joseph Booth Jr., Shaye Booth, Jacob Booth, and Adrianna Booth.

He is also remembered by Kimberly Farron, mother of Daniel Jr., and Miriah Booth, mother of Jacob and Adrianna, with whom he shared many years and a deep connection through their family, and who remained a significant and meaningful part of his life.

Daniel is further survived by his siblings: Judy Booth, Raymond Booth III, (Sheila), and John Booth (Carol).

He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, including Jennifer Breault, Alissa Alling, Savannah Kyle, James Booth, Raymond Booth IV, Meghan Decker, and Joshua Booth, and a proud great-uncle to their children, all of whom brought him great joy. 

He is also remembered by extended family and loved ones, including little Sofia, who shares a special bond within the family, as well as many relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Calling hours will be held at Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie, on Saturday, April 18th from 2 - 4 PM.
