Colonie - Philip J. Bisognano, 94, of Colonie died Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Evergreen Commons Nursing Center in East Greenbush. Born in Albany, Phil was the son of the late Carmela Sofia and Joseph Bisognano. He was a lifelong resident of Colonie. He worked for 30 years as a school bus driver for the South Colonie School District and was loved by the students that he drove to and from school because he was the first driver to put a radio in his bus. Phil was also a life member of the West Albany Fire Department.
Phil was the twin brother of the late Anthony J. Bisognano and also brother of Sam Bisognano and the late Andrew Bisognano, Joseph Bisognano and Catherine Rose Bisognano. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Anne Rexford Bisognano and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
