Obituary of Roberta Ann Stansfield

Voorheesville - Roberta Lowe Stansfield, 89, of Voorheesville died Friday, April 25, 2024.  Born in Oneonta, Roberta had lived in Voorheesville for the past 45 years.  She had been employed at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany.  She was a member of the Red Hats and enjoyed bowling, camping, snowmobiling and being a homemaker.

Roberta was the wife of the late John Stansfield; mother of Donald Matthews of Voorheesville and the late Kimberly Decorah; stepmother of Rhonda Stansfield (John) of Scotia and David Stansfield (Lisa) of Berne; sister of Douglas Lowe, Cathy Lawyer, Harry Lawyer, Charlie Lowe and the late David Lowe; grandmother of Brandon, Matthew, Ryan, Justine, Tyler, Lindsey and Kyle; and great-grandmother of Jameson, Kayle and Michael.

Private funeral services are being conducted at the convenience of the family.  For those who wish, memorial donations to Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 would be appreciated.
