Ann C. Mattfeld, 75, of Voorheesville peacefully entered into eternal life on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. Ann was born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 19, 1941. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Syracuse University and worked at The University of Michigan Hospital, Albany Medical Center Hospital and the Visiting Nurses Association until she retired in 2004. Ann loved caring for and helping everyone but especially her children, grandchildren and all children in need. She spent countless hours on bleachers and sidelines, cheering on those she loved. Ann is survived by her husband of 54 years, George Francis Mattfeld, her children, Elizabeth Mattfeld, Susan (Robert) Bollentin, Steven (Tracy) Mattfeld, Ann (Peyton) Moore, William (Elin) Mattfeld, George A. Mattfeld and Christian (Mako) Scharl. Ann is also survived by her six grandchildren, Anna, Matthew and Jacob Feller, Sarah and John Mattfeld, and Ryan Moore. Calling hours will be held Monday, May 16, 2016 from 4-8 at Reilly and Son Funeral Home in Voorheesville, NY. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 17 at 10:00 am at St. Matthew's Church in Voorheesville, NY. Burial will follow the services at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
