New Scotland - Michael Kawczak, 86, of Indian Fields Rd. died Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the Albany County Nursing Home in Colonie. Michael was born in Albany and had lived all of his life in Feura Bush. He worked for 21 years for the Bethlehem Central School District, retiring in 1986.
Michael was the husband of June Rarick Kawczak; father of Bonnie Hagerty (Laurence) of Ann Arbor, MI and Michael Kawczak (Lisa) of Feura Bush; grandfather of Jessica Carlson (Dave), David Hagerty, Kathleen Hagerty, Michaela Kawczak and Ben Kawczak; and brother of the late John and Stephen Kawczak.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Onesquethaw Cemetery, Tayyrtown Rd., Clarksville. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 would be appreciated.
