Voorheesville - Edward G. Sellnow, Jr., 77, died Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home. Born in Albany, Edward was the son of the late Dorothea Ochse and Edward G. Sellnow, Sr. He was employed for for 40 years at SUNY Albany, retiring in 2002. Edward was a member of the Voorheesville American Legion and the Altamont Masonic Lodge. Ed was the husband of Lorraine Bowen Sellnow; father of Edward G. Sellnow, III of Galway and Michael D. Sellnow (Kathleen) of Rotterdam; grandfather of Abigail, Emma, Lucas and Mason Sellnow; and brother of Paul Sellnow of Richmondville, Carol Elmendorf (Kenneth) of Altamont and Joan Lighthart (Chuck) of Middleburgh. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, greatnieces, greatnephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville. Burial will be in Memory’s Garden Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 - 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
