Voorheesville - Madeline Sees McEvoy, 82, died Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Community Hospice of Albany Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Troy, Madeline was a longtime resident of Voorheesville. She worked for 30 years at the McKesson Corporation in Albany. She enjoyed the Voorheesville Rod and Gun Club and loved going to Bob and Bonnie’s to watch the Red Sox. With her late husband John, she spent a lot of time at their camp on Blue Mountain Lake enjoying everything the Adirondacks have to offer. She enjoyed her family dinners at the camp, going out to dinner with her children and especially her lunch outings with Jeannie and Huguette. Madeline was the wife of the late Russell Baumann and John L. McEvoy, Jr.; mother of John L. McEvoy, III (Marcia Zorn) of Colonie and Stephen E. McEvoy (Aaryne) of Racine, Wisconsin; grandmother of Grayson, Lillian and Brennen McEvoy; and sister of the late Edward C. Sees. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 9 - 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Colonie. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the Community Hospice of Albany Inn, 315 So. Manning Blvd.,Albany, NY 12208 would be appreciated.
