COLONIE - Charles J. (Pal) Fennessey, of the village of Colonie, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the Rosewood Garden in North Greenbush. He was born on St. Patrick's Day in 1927 in Yonkers to the late Thomas and Anna McLaughlin Fennessey. Charles had lived in Colonie since 1963. He worked in the automobile business as a car salesman for most of his life. He was the husband of the late Florence Fennessey. Charles is survived by two daughters and one son, Charlene Fennessey of the village of Colonie, Karen Beth (Mike) Warzek of East Schodack and Chuck (Rose) Fennessey of Wilton. He was the grandfather of Michael (Courtney) Warzek, Leigh Lanham, Paul Fennessey and Samantha Fennessey and great-grandfather of Madeline Lanham. Charles was the brother of Patty Anne Cala, Raymond (Kay) Fennessey, Bernard (Jeanne) Fennessey, and the late Thomas, Gerard and Ilean Fennessey.He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of the Resurrection 9 a.m. Friday morning at the Church of St. Clare, Colonie. Calling hours will be from 4 - 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, 1200 Central Ave., Colonie. For those who desire, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
